THOM'S SURGERY

Thom had his surgery yesterday. The doctor pulled out a 5mm stone, and said that all went really well. He also dilated the ureter(sp?), and left a stint in place(which needs to be in for 10 days to 3 weeks). The doctor says everything went well, but Thom is not recovering well. He is very sick and miserable, and making life miserable for everyone around him. As with most guys he does not do well when he is in pain, or sick. But I am doing everything possible to keep him happy and comfortable. Things got real bad last night, he kept throwing up and could not keep anything down(nausea or pain pills), so I had to get a hold of the on call doctor, and figure out what to do. He called in a new nausea medication to our pharmacy, and said that if those did not work, I would have to take him to the ER, to get on IV fluids and meds. Luckily "THANK YOU JESUS" the medication worked and he was able to take a pain pill and keep it down. He has not thrown us since. He is doing a little bit better today, and we are just taking it one day at a time. Though he is very anxious to get the stint out because it is VERY uncomfortable for him, and causing him a great deal of pain. But I am sure he will be back to work on Monday, you know nothing can keep him from work, he even came out to the couch to work last night.

Jenn-

I reserved a group camp site for the 7th and 8th of June. Everything for the site has been paid for so if you and your family would like to join us your more than welcome.

To my knowledge Theresa's family is coming I know our fmily of 5 will be there (Cicily )and Dennis/Cherie and Tara I believe and her kids plus Joey and his girlfriend, I'm not sure about Brandy and her family I haven't heard from them.

The site will accommodate 40 people and 8 cars, it's a pretty cool site we saw it last year when we camped at a different site and planned on getting it this year.

here is a link : https://www.recreation.gov/camping/Timpooneke_Ut/r/campgroundDetails.do?parkId=70128&contractCode=NRSO&chkAg=y

Hope your having a great day
